Contact
This guide is compiled from forest-service sources and hiker reports. Corrections are genuinely welcome — trail conditions change, and the mileages on the signage have never fully agreed with the older printed maps.
01 — EmailGetting in touch
Email [email protected]. There is no contact form on this site, deliberately — a static site with no form collects nothing, which keeps the privacy position as simple as it looks.
Useful things to write about:
- Route or condition corrections — a closed section, a rerouted stretch, a boardwalk out of service, water that has stopped running.
- Mileage discrepancies — particularly where current signage disagrees with what is described here.
- The Uwharrie map sheets — the three preserved PDFs are unlabelled scans, so if you can identify which part of the forest each one covers, that would improve the maps page for everyone.
- Reusing the graphics — the infographics may be reproduced with attribution under the terms; no permission request needed, though it is always good to know where they end up.
02 — OperatorWho publishes this
This site is published as Neusiok Trail Guide, an independent guide. It is not affiliated with the USDA Forest Service, the North Carolina Forest Service, or any state or federal agency, and nothing here should be read as an official publication of those bodies.
For matters this guide cannot help with — permits, closures in progress, burn permissions — the forest service page explains which agency covers what.
